Miranda Turley

Miranda Mullins is a loving local and Huntington, WV native and 2010 graduate from Marshall University. Miranda took an interest in physical fitness and Brown Dog Yoga after moving back from Colorado in 2012. She is an RYT-200 yoga teacher and is one of Brown Dog’s Barre instructors. Miranda also teaches for Tailwind Indoor Cycling and her passion is her students to be the best they can be while having fun and embracing life.

Tomi Weber

Tomi Weber is a 1979 graduate from Marshall University and is a partner in the Huntington accounting firm of Hess, Stewart & Campbell. She has been an avid fitness fanatic for over 40 years. She is an avid tennis player and runner.  She fell in love with indoor cycling as a complement to her current fitness regimen, and loves that anyone (all ages, shapes and sizes) can participate.  She's been married to Phil for 35 years and has two children, Matt and Catherine.  

Katrina Mailloux

Katrina Mailloux, E-RYT-500, has been teaching yoga since 2008. She left her law practice to follow her passion in 2007 and has never looked back.  Katrina is the founder and owner of Brown Dog Yoga. She first began practicing yoga in an effort provide a balance to her weight training and running regimen. She obtained her RYT-200 from the Breathing Space in Blacksburg, Virginia and completed her RYT-500 training at Yoga on High, in Columbus, Ohio. She holds an advanced certificate in Yoga Therapeutics and is the Director and Lead Trainer for the Brown Dog Yoga RYT 200-hour and Advanced RYT 300-hour Teacher Training Programs. Katrina welcomes all levels of yoga practitioner to her classes with modifications and creative sequencing. Katrina’s loves helping her students find inner peace and balance and to be less about human “having” and human “doing,” and more about human being.

Ashton Akers

Ashton Akers is from Chesapeake, Ohio and fell in love with Tailwind Indoor Cycling shortly after they opened in 2016. She is currently studying health science at MCTC. Ashton loves working out and spending time with her daughter Miya and her boyfriend Kevin. She believes that in addition to a good sweat that laughter is the best medicine. Prepare to sweat and have fun with Ashton!

Cathy Snoddy

Cathy Snoddy is a native of Huntington, WV. She practiced yoga off and on for years before she felt like something was missing from her life and returned to yoga through the first Brown Dog Yoga RYT-200 Teacher Training program. She believes that laughter is important, even in her yoga practice and she loves to introduce the practice to people who think they can’t do yoga.  Most importantly, she strives to share the gift of yoga through it's power to help individuals tap into their inner beauty and light.  Cathy is a certified instructor in iRest Yoga Nidra and has a 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Certificate. 

Ray Frye

Ray is a dedicated dad of twin girls, a healthcare executive, and on of Tailwind’s charter instructors. Ray takes a personal approach to cycling citing a quote from Maya Angelou as an influence when constructing his rides, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you make them feel.” Ray encourages riders to make each class their own and focus on the needs of their mind, spirit and body as they cycle through the opportunities and challenges of everyday life. Ray enjoys an active lifestyle as an avid runner, yogi, and cyclist. A resident of Proctorville, Ohio with a successful career as an executive at Lab Corp, Ray believes in the importance of building a strong community that begins with the health and strength of the individual. His goal is for each cyclist to leave class feeling inspired and accomplished.

Makenzie Callicoat

Makenzie is a student at Marshall University who has always had a passion for healthy living.  As an instructor for Tailwind, she focuses on bringing a fresh and fun twist to her classes, while ensuring her students feel a sense of accomplishment after their workout.  She believes in leading others to find their inner strength, and encourages them to push beyond their limits with love and compassion.  Makenzie's love for exercise was amplified when she found Brown Dog Yoga during her Senior year of high school. She completed the Brown Dog Yoga Teacher Training Program in 2017 and hopes to inspire others to achieve their dreams and goals.
