Michele Muth

Originally from New Jersey and Norway, Michele Muth is a graduate of Marshall University with a BBA in Marketing and Economics, and a Master’s in Business Administration. She holds a Level 2 Les Mills BodyPump certification and a cycling certification. She works in the fitness industry full-time as an Associate Director at the Marshall Recreation Center. She is an avid runner, cyclist and loves group fitness and yoga! She also enjoys skiing, travelling and spending time with her husband Mark and children Maren and Henrik.

Tomi Weber

Tomi Weber is a 1979 graduate from Marshall University and is a partner in the Huntington accounting firm of Hess, Stewart & Campbell. She has been an avid fitness fanatic for over 40 years. She is an avid tennis player and runner.  She fell in love with indoor cycling as a complement to her current fitness regimen, and loves that anyone (all ages, shapes and sizes) can participate.  She's been married to Phil for 35 years and has two children, Matt and Catherine.  

Ray Frye

Ray is a dedicated dad of twin girls, a healthcare executive, and on of Tailwind’s charter instructors. Ray takes a personal approach to cycling citing a quote from Maya Angelou as an influence when constructing his rides, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you make them feel.” Ray encourages riders to make each class their own and focus on the needs of their mind, spirit and body as they cycle through the opportunities and challenges of everyday life. Ray enjoys an active lifestyle as an avid runner, yogi, and cyclist. A resident of Proctorville, Ohio with a successful career as an executive at Lab Corp, Ray believes in the importance of building a strong community that begins with the health and strength of the individual. His goal is for each cyclist to leave class feeling inspired and accomplished.

Ashton Akers

Ashton Akers is from Chesapeake, Ohio and fell in love with BDY Cycling in 2016. She is currently studying health science at MCTC. Ashton loves working out and spending time with her daughter Miya and her boyfriend Kevin. She believes that in addition to a good sweat that laughter is the best medicine. Prepare to sweat and have fun with Ashton!

Kai Blankenship

Kai grew up traveling the world training to be a professional ballerina. After multiple foot injuries, she stopped dancing, went on to graduate school and moved to LA and began working in the fitness industry.  This is where she fell in love with cycling and barre. Kai recently moved back home to Ashland from Lexington where she taught cycling, barre, & strength training. She is currently pursuing a Physical Therapy Assistant degree. She loves helping people become stronger and healthier so BDY is the perfect fit!

 

Danielle Bowen

Danielle is a Huntington, WV native who grew up in Wheeling. She returned to Huntington in 2010 to pursue a Master’s Degree in School Counseling at Marshall. She began practicing yoga in college, but it wasn't until grad school that she fell in love with it as she developed a regular practice to supplement marathon training. She enjoys spending time with her husband, stepson and their ever growing pet family. She became an RYT-200 certified teacher at Brown Dog Yoga in 2017. Her goal is help students realize their potential and promote self- awareness and empowerment through yoga.

Rich Mailloux

Rich Mailloux began practicing yoga in 2010 with his wife, Katrina. He immediately saw changes in his overall fitness, becoming stronger, faster and more flexible. Although a busy physician, he became hooked and embarked upon the yoga teacher training program. Rich currently teaches students at the MU Recreation Center and at BDY, and he embraces an approach which appeals to those who consider themselves “inflexible” in both mind and body. Rich is the Co-Director of the Brown Dog Yoga RYT-200 hour Teacher Training Program. Whether your an avid fitness enthusiast, or want to embrace a different approach to wellness, Rich has your prescription.

Miranda Turley

Miranda Mullins is a loving local and Huntington, WV native and 2010 graduate from Marshall University. Miranda took an interest in physical fitness and Brown Dog Yoga after moving back from Colorado in 2012. She is an RYT-200 yoga teacher and is one of Brown Dog’s Barre instructors. Miranda also teaches BDY Cycling and her passion is her students to be the best they can be while having fun and embracing life.
This 45-minute cycling class combines high-energy music with a dynamic workout that will energize your mind, body and spirit. In this class, you will find not only high-intensity cardio but you will experience upper body strength training and ride-to-the-rhythm choreography. Set your intention, unleash your inner power and ride, climb, sprint through the journey ahead.
